Jai Baba Everyone,
Just in time for Christmas, two excellent new DVDs have become available:
Don Stevens Remembers Francis Brabazon
Francis Brabazon and Don Stevens met in 1946 at the Sufi School in Fairfax California, connected by their involvement in Sufism and their deepening relationship with Avatar Meher Baba.  Don tells of his friendship with Francis as they met frequently over the next four decades in the company of Meher Baba who had become their “one true friend” and spiritual master.  Beautifully crafted by Michael Le Page, this movie should have great appeal to anyone who knew and liked Francis.

The New Life
Mani Irani and Eruch Jessawala were among the companions that entered the New Life in 1949 with Meher Baba as their ‘elder brother’.  There were many hardships as well as unexpected acts of people’s generosity.  Mani and Eruch relate their stories from this extraordinary, enigmatic time.  Filmed at Meherazad 1986 during the pilgrim season.
Produced by Wendell and Tom Brustman.  The big surprise is that such quality footage still existed, unpublished until now.
- Mani talks about the scenario, the “Song of the New Life”, the helplessness, hopelessness and freedom, Baba’s acts of kindness towards the companions, and begging for food.
- Eruch talks about begging for accommodation, the story behind the photo (Baba begging), the animals and how they were acquired.
- Soundtrack by Jamie Newell
The DVD is in NTSC format.  65 minutes, colour.
$29  -  Available at this time only from Canberra through mail order.
For mail order, please add $5.50 postage for one DVD, $6.00 for two or more.  Make out cheque or money order to Felix Schmid or transfer funds via internet banking - details provided on request.  If you require the DVDs for Christmas please order early as current stocks are limited.
