3rd Annual Music Sahavas in Asheville
Word is spreading about the third annual Avatar Meher Baba Music Sahavas. This event began with a whim and has now taken on a life of its own. The first two gatherings were heartfelt and joyous, and this year promises to thrill the hearts of all who attend. It’s an opportunity to share your own music to Baba in our Round Robin, hear short sets, learn new songs, participate in singalongs, attend workshops and hear invited guest musicians in concert. You can meet other Baba musicians from all over the country, and, above all, join in praising our Beloved Baba together.

When he started to read Discourses by Meher Baba, he says, “I knew my search was over.” The songs in his soon-to-be-released CD, Love of My Life, which Jack will share with us at the Sahavas, represent his personal relationship with Baba, the Creator, Sustainer, and Love of his life!

Raine is best known for her presentations of the songs of Francis Brabazon, Meher Baba’s Australian mandali-poet. The 12 years she spent with Francis, who was a prolific songwriter and playwright, have been the most important influence on Raine’s music these last 44 years.
Jim Meyer has been a follower of Meher Baba for over 40 years, and for most of that time he has been singing songs to his Beloved. Jim also paints, and has had several recent shows of his work. Settled in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, he is the father of three lovely sons. Jim says he one day hopes to become a responsible adult!
